PK -- You are right. I guess the magic is when we realize opportunity is right in front of us, or in my case that day, right behind me. I debated for a second about turning around but knew it was what I had to do. Thanks for sharing. xx oo back.

Nice Annie. I related more to the 'going through the motions' part than the lovely encounter but it does show how life provides us with the opportunity to do good even when we otherwise just getting by. All I can say about the raising kids part is that the empty nest phase is not all bad. xoxo

Cathy -- well said. It's amazing how something so simple can bring us so much joy. Thank you for sharing.

I love finding pennies! I have no idea why.....they just make me smile and appreciate small pleasures that build up to big ones in hindsight. Its kinda like an inside joke between me and God, a wink, a nudge that the mundane is exciting if we want it to be. I lose myself in where that penny came from, its journey to how it got there, and now to me.....its a gift, smalll, but priceless gift of upcoming abundance at the same time.

Sana, thank you for your encouragement. Even if you have a story to share, sometimes it's challenging to do so! What happened to your cousin and how does he/she deal with it?

That is an impressive story from your grandmother. It leaves a lasting impression! Do you think the curse was real?

What a blessing you were to both K and M. Your compassion was revealed, and you were able to bring peace and comfort to them by sharing your suffering. Thanks, Anne.

Merry -- you are right in that my dad had his own strategy and it makes me think that we can learn strategies from so many people. Direct confrontation versus subtle undermining -- each may have their place!
